Located in Ulladulla, Southern Shoalhaven Zone Meals on Wheels is a not for profit community organisation that aims to provide nutritious meals, personal support, wellness checks and companionship.
You are eligible to receive meals and social support if:
- You’re 65 years or older or 50 and over if Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
- Are registered for My Aged Care,
- Are registered with the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), or
- Are younger with a disability and registered under National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
The Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) is designed to assist senior Australians to access assistance while maintaining their independence and living in their own home. In order to be eligible for CHSP, you must be 65 years or older, 50 years or older for Indigenous citizens, OR 50 years or older (45 years for Indigenous Australians) and on a low income, homeless or at risk of being homeless.
As well as providing tasty, nutritional home delivered meals we facilitate weekly social group activities and individual home visits or outings to support an independent and social lifestyle.
The organisation is managed by a voluntary Management Committee which employs four permanent part-time staff and receives funding from the Australian Government under the Commonwealth Home Support Program to provide meal services and social support from Sussex Inlet to North Durras.

Meals on Wheels has no waiting list, and there are no contracts!
